Generation 1 heroes
Your first heroes are there from the day the kingdom opens, including the Generation 1 mythic heroes. Saul is this generation's Hero Roulette hero.
Sanctuary Battle sign-ups open
Sign-ups open for the first Sanctuary Battle. Alliances have until the fight on day 7 to register, or can turn on Auto-sign-up.
First Hall of Governors
The first Hall of Governors. It runs for seven days, each with its own focus, from Power Boost and Beast Hunting to Hero Gear and Governor Gear.
First Sanctuary Battle
Alliances fight over Sanctuaries and Fortresses for the first time. Holding one earns season points, and a Fortress is worth twice as much as a Sanctuary.
Fishing opens
Fishing opens. Grab a pole for chests, Fishing Tournament points and Fishing Guild rewards.
Plains fog clears
The fog over the Plains lifts. Every governor can move into the Plains, even without finishing the mission goals.
Mystic Trial opens
Mystic Trial opens: a stage-by-stage challenge with milestone rewards and a Trial Shop. Its chests can drop Mythic hero shards.

Hero Gear Reforge opens
Hero Gear Reforge unlocks. It resets a piece's Mastery Level to 0 and returns half the Forgehammers you spent, so you can move them to a better piece.

Alliance resource exchange
Resource Exchange opens in Alliance Territory. Alliances can swap one alliance resource for another at a set ratio, up to a daily limit.
Generation 2 heroes
Generation 2 heroes arrive. Their shards come from events, so this is when saving up for the one you want starts to pay off. Zoe is this generation's Hero Roulette hero.
First Castle Battle
The first battle for the King's Castle. The alliance that holds it at the end picks the kingdom's King for the next 14 days.

The Age of Truegold begins, and your main buildings can be raised through Truegold 1, 2 and 3.

Governor Gear Material Exchange opens
The Governor Gear Material Exchange opens on the equipment screen of your governor profile, trading for Satin, Gilded Threads and Artisan's Vision. Your Town Center needs to be high enough to use it.

4th Master · Cassia
Cassia joins the Master Academy.
Governor Charm Material Exchange opens
The Governor Charm Material Exchange opens on the equipment screen of your governor profile, trading for Charm Guides and Charm Designs. Your Town Center needs to be high enough to use it.
Truegold 5
Town Center, Barracks, Stable, Range, Infirmary, Command Center and Embassy can reach Truegold 5, which also strengthens troop skills. The Truegold Crucible opens to turn basic resources into Truegold, the Mystic Trial shop starts selling Governor Charm materials, and the Level 8 Terror, Titan Roc, appears. From here your kingdom is eligible for the next transfer window.
Governor Charm level cap increases
Governor Charms can be upgraded past level 12 from this date. Few players can use it right away, but the change splits transfer groups, so it matters when you plan a move.
February 2027
Generation 4 heroes
Generation 4 heroes arrive. Their shards come from events, so this is when saving up for the one you want starts to pay off. Rosa is this generation's Hero Roulette hero. Generation 2 heroes join the Gold Key pool at the same time. The Desert Trial event also becomes Champion's Way.

Generation 4 pets become available.
March 2027
War Academy
The War Academy opens, and Truegold Dust and T11 troops arrive with it. It researches Truegold Tech with Truegold Dust, and a War Academy upgrade and Truegold Tech research can't run at the same time.
May 2027
Generation 5 heroes
Generation 5 heroes arrive. Their shards come from events, so this is when saving up for the one you want starts to pay off. Long Fei is this generation's Hero Roulette hero. Generation 3 heroes join the Gold Key pool at the same time.

Generation 5 pets become available.
June 2027
Truegold 8
The War Academy joins the main buildings, and all of them can reach Truegold 8, each unlocking a new skill for infantry, cavalry or archers. Tempered Truegold arrives too: the Crucible refines it through Super Refinement, and Governor Gear chests join the Mystic Trial shop.
August 2027
9th and 10th Masters · Olander and Catherine
Olander and Catherine join the Master Academy.

Generation 6 heroes arrive. Their shards come from events, so this is when saving up for the one you want starts to pay off. Sophia is this generation's Hero Roulette hero. Generation 4 heroes join the Gold Key pool at the same time.

First Flamedragon Tyrant Competition
The first Flamedragon Tyrant season. Alliances from several kingdoms fight over the Flamedragon Palace, and whoever holds it is crowned Flamedragon Tyrant.

Advanced Truegold Research
Advanced Truegold Research unlocks in the War Academy, opening a deeper Truegold Tech tree.

Governor Gear Infusion
New feature: Governor Gear Infusion opens. Spend infusion points on your Governor Gear to strengthen it beyond its usual upgrades.

Truegold 9 and 10 arrive together: main buildings and the War Academy can reach Truegold 10, the highest stage so far, boosting troop skills again.
