Overview
Rallies are the primary method for attacking strong targets in Kingshot — enemy cities, Bear Hunt, and other PvE bosses. Understanding rally mechanics is essential for maximizing damage and contributing effectively to your alliance.
Rally Basics
- A rally is started by one player (the rally caller/captain) and joined by alliance members
- The Command Center determines maximum rally capacity
- The rally caller's hero, gear, research, and stats apply to the entire rally
- Joiners contribute troops and up to 4 additional hero skills
Rally Callers
The best rally callers have offensive widgets since the widget's multiplicative bonus applies to the entire rally:
- Amadeus — Best infantry rally caller (Aegis of Fate widget)
- Petra — Best cavalry rally caller (Tarot of Destiny widget)
- Marlin / Rosa / Vivian — Best archer rally callers
Rally Joiners
When joining a rally, your hero's skills contribute to the rally's total power. However, only 4 additional hero skills from joiners are counted. If a rally already has 4 strong heroes from joiners, you're better off not placing a hero in your first slot.
Joiner Skill Mechanics
The optimal joiner combination is 2 Chenkos + 2 Amanes. Chenko provides a reliable 25% Lethality buff (making her the best SR hero for rally joining), while Amane adds complementary bonuses. This combination deals approximately 12.5% more damage than 4 Chenkos.
Buff Math (Additive vs Multiplicative)
Understanding the difference between additive and multiplicative buffs is crucial:
- Expedition skills are additive — they stack linearly
- Exclusive Skills (from widgets) can be both additive and multiplicative — the multiplicative portion is what makes widgets so powerful
- A 15% multiplicative bonus on top of 125% Lethality gives 143.75%, not 140% — the difference compounds with higher base stats
