Overview
Welcome to Kingshot! This guide covers everything you need to know as a new player. Kingshot is a medieval-themed strategy game by Century Games (the same developer behind Whiteout Survival) where you build a town, train armies, recruit heroes, and work with your alliance to conquer the kingdom.
Your First Day
- Complete the tutorial — it teaches basic mechanics and rewards you with starter resources
- Join an active alliance immediately — alliance help reduces building and research times
- On Day 2, you'll receive Jabel for free — she's a Legendary Cavalry hero and your first strong hero
- Redeem any active gift codes for free resources (check our Gift Codes page)
Building Priority
Focus on upgrading your Town Center above everything else. The TC level gates all other buildings. Follow this priority order:
- Town Center (always the #1 priority)
- Embassy (required for most TC upgrades)
- Military buildings (Barracks, Stable, Range — whichever the TC requires)
- Academy (for research speed and tech)
- Resource buildings (Mill, Sawmill, Quarry, Iron Mine)
Hero Investment
Don't spread resources across too many heroes. Focus on a core team:
- Jabel — Free on Day 2, strong through Gen 1-2
- Amadeus — First Legendary to invest in for rally content
- Saul — Good early game with stun + ATK speed boost
- Helga — Solid infantry support alternative
Joining an Alliance
Your alliance is the most important decision in Kingshot. A good alliance provides:
- Build/research help (reduces timers)
- Alliance technology bonuses
- Access to Bear Hunt and alliance events
- Protection from enemy attacks
- Territory bonuses from alliance buildings
Daily Checklist
- Collect resource production from buildings
- Send gathering marches to resource tiles
- Complete daily quests for rewards
- Help alliance members with build/research requests
- Check the Nomadic Merchant for free resource exchanges
- Do Pet Adventures (4 per day) for pet upgrade materials
- Participate in any active events
