Overview
The Barracks is one of three military training buildings in Kingshot, responsible for training Infantry troops. Infantry serve as the front line of your army, absorbing damage and protecting your Cavalry and Archers.
Upgrading the Barracks increases training capacity (how many troops can be trained at once) and training speed, while also unlocking higher troop tiers with better stats.
Troop Tiers Unlocked
Higher Barracks levels unlock stronger Infantry tiers. Each tier represents a significant jump in stats:

Upgrade Tips
- The Barracks is frequently a prerequisite for Town Center upgrades (at odd-numbered TC levels)
- Training capacity is as important as troop tier — a larger batch means more efficient speedup usage
- TG Barracks upgrades are required for T11 Infantry, which are essential for late-game garrison defense
